Radio Art Zone is a 100-day radio art station for Esch2022 (EU Capitol of Culture), which will be broadcast in the south of Luxembourg by Radio ARA on 87.8 FM. It will also be live-streamed for a worldwide audience and transmitted by a network of international partners.
I’ve been commissioned to create a 22-hour radio piece, tentatively titled “Fast Slow Radio” for broadcast this summer. I’ll present 22 sonic impressions from locations around the globe. Each 60 minute impression will be an “audio time-lapse”, combining thousands of chronological audio samples collected throughout a 24hr period in one place.
